Dear Dobbs,
Please allow me a few moments to thank you for the remarkable three days you spent at the Bow Elementary School last May.
Your student performances and workshops for each of our classes created a wonderful forum for learning about your music
and creative storymaking. You charmed the teachers with an afternoon of classical music, personal history, and stories after the
children had long gone home. Your finale, a concert on Friday night for the entire community was a robust success. Young
children , adolescents, and parents, listened quietly and attentively to your musical tales.
In addition to your hilarious tales, touching music, and storymaking, it was just great working with you. The ease at which you
blended in with the teachers, administration, and students, was quite evident. Your personality was welcoming to all who came
in contact with your musical adventures that week. Best of all we feel like we made a new friend at the Bow Elementary
School. I certainly enjoyed coordinating your efforts here at school and look forward to working with you in the future.

Sincerely

Lisa Tateosian

Dear Ms Tateosian;

Our Students thoroughly enjoyed Richard Hartshorne's performance as Dobbs. It provided the perfect entertainment after our
Thanksgiving Feast. The classic Bach piece held the attention of the youngest members of our school, and was a masterful way
to start a fun afternoon. It calmed the children down and settled them in. The stories, especially the one about the cow, were an
absolute riot Mr. Hartshorne has an ear for music, and a way with languages, dialects and children. There was something for
everyone. Even the most active first-graders were fascinated.
Thanks for everything!

Sincerely yours,

Sue Tussing
