In 2015 I traveled to Denmark with two basses to play all 6 Solo Suites of Bach on a single concert. This is where I began my study of the bass in 1961. I'm not Danish but I speak Danish. In the audience were members of the family I lived with, my first teacher and members of the orchestra I played with. Extremely emotional!
